Bollywood is coming up with the real life stories back to back and Neerja is one of them. It’s a tribute to “The Heroine of Hijack” Neerja Bhanot, 23 year old young girl who was an senior air hostess of PAN AM Flight 73, while it was hijacked by four heavily armed terrorists after it landed in Karachi. She is a true example of women power and courage. She could have easily saved her life during the Hijack but she opened the emergency door and preferred saving life of 359 passengers. She is the youngest recipient of India’s highest peacetime military courage award for bravery, the Ashok Chakra. We salute her for her courage and spirit and will look forward to get indulge in her life story through the movie.
The role is played by Fashionista Sonam Kapoor and its looks quite appealing as Neerja Bhanot with the brilliant actress Shabana Azmi who is playing the role of her mother. Trailer has come out quite emotional and builds up interest in the movie.
