On the occasion of International Women’s Day this year,
The Uncommon Box, organised a unique theme based art contest (between 16th February and 6th March), sponsored by ZoomIn. The results were declared on 8th March – on the day of the celebration of Women’s Day itself.
The art contest was centred around the power of women,and the artist’s perspective of her and of her place in society.
Team TUB was delighted by the sheer artistry of the over 100+ entries that came in as part of the competition. Each entry was also accompanied by a brief write up added by the artist, who expressed the inspiration behind the creation.
It gave Team TUB immense satisfaction in sieving through the entries and choosing the top three and the 10 special mention awardees.

Our sponsors were very happy at the high standard of entries for this competition that The Uncommon Box had sourced.
Team TUB uploaded the entries on all their social media channels- including Instagram and Facebook. The response to the entries, and the artists was overwhelming. The winners were awarded special gift vouchers from ZoomIn (@zoomin_moments)
So, we are very happy to share the work of the artists on our website and provide them with the platform they need to showcase their work.
