“I was framed by The Uncommon Box” – said the cup!
Yes, that’s exactly what we did with our contest – #cupintheframewithtub
Everyone starts their day with a cup of tea, coffee, milk or juice. The Uncommon Box began theNew Year with a simple yet uncommon photo contest where we had to capture the cup in a frame.
The basic theme of the contest was to use elements that enhance the presence of the cup in the frame. Little did we know that the contest would turn out to be such an amazing hit!
300+ entries from enthusiastic and artistic minds made it all the more exciting. The response to the contest was so overwhelming that we were compelled to extend the contest closing date from 17th Jan to 30th Jan. However, we must admit that the level of creativity was so appealing that most entries are imprinted in memory forever.
A big THANK YOU to all the participants for treating us with some of the best photos depicting ways of framing a cup in ways that one would even find difficult to imagine.
Whether it was a mobile phone, point-and-shoot camera or a DSLR; the #cupintheframewithtubtheme was brought alive through your pictures!
#cupintheframewithtub captured the cup that would usually travel from the kitchen to the coffee table and back into the closet.

‘From tea on the rocks to the cup beside those socks
The cup witnessed its journey in the train, the morning dawn, the midnight rain
Found itself among flowers and grass, pastries and cakes
At times flying in the air; falling in love with little hearts and almond shakes!
Sometimes hot sometimes cold, always there for the young and old!’
