Why is laundry only a mother’s job ?

Today’s woman has developed her identity as a strong, independent and totally empowered but it is a privilege that comes with certain inescapable responsibilities, She has to sacrifice a lot to cope up with her dual roles at work as well at domestic front. She can’t fail beyond excellence in both the roles.

India still believes in the traditional family structures such as monogamous marriage, man as providers, and women as nurturers. If even the woman is working, she has deal with all the responsibility without any glitch. The Ariel- Load share advertisement video gives a powerful message where a father realizes his mistake and questions our upbringing system where since childhood girls are expected to do all the household chores. Why not boys are expected to have equal responsibility and contribution, isn’t it their home also?

The Uncommon Box (TUB), is a pannier with uncommon treasures from our very own common surroundings. Everything in this world is unique in its own way; it's just the matter of realizing and appreciating it. We are here with our thoughts which have been gathered from the common lives we are living. We believe in the special or uncommon that remains undiscovered or unnoticed in our routine hectic life. The aim of this community is to ‘be uncommon and do uncommon!’
