The 7 Tales Of Women Through Art

Art Is Not Always About Pretty Things. It’s About Who We Are, What Happened To Us, And How Our Lives Are Affected.”

The 7 Tales Of Women Through Art
Ariyana Sharma

Introducing an uncommon artist Ariyana Sharma, a final year MBBS student born and bought up in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. This pahadi girl brings out her expressions in form of her sketches. Her art work is a reflection of her thoughts, feelings and emotions. She believes

Every art has a story behind it, and sometimes you don’t have words to express why you created something in the first place. When it comes to art, it’s important not to hide the madness. I never plan what I am going to make, it’s an instant thing which I cannot explain. I just create what I feel, what makes my soul happy”

The Uncommon Box takes great pleasure in featuring few of her best artistic designs that revolves around female characters because she believes that woman is the perfect example of strength, sacrifice, belief, beauty, art, love, bravery, selflessness, depth and all other emotions. She totally believes in the idea of being the heroine of your life and not the victim

SHE THREW AWAY ALL OF HER MASKS, TO PUT ON HER SOUL”

She is a dreamer. Someone who is not like others.

Always in a flight, she knows no bound.

In her own new dreamland where there’s no fear no heartbreak,

The one who does not abide by the norms of the society

She is the type to fall in love with everything that is beyond her reach.

Unaware of the life’s reality, fighting for what lies beyond the appearance.

She walks her own path to somewhere she belongs!

She’s tired!

Tired of this constant battle against hope.

Tired of being let down.

There’s a war inside her head every single day.

Tired of keeping up with all taboos made by society.

Fighting for her right to live freely, safely, happily.

If that’s not exhausting then what is!

Bad things happen to each one of us.

As long as you live in this world, you are subjected to the ups and downs in life.

What makes you different is how you choose to deal with them.

You are not alone in this.

You always have a choice.

Tell yourself it is what it is!

There’s always a new way, focus on the positive.

Acceptance is priority, take the action and change your feelings!

“When something bad happens you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you or you can let it strengthen you”

And then she made her choice.

Determined to move ahead.

She prayed in silence.

She stopped waiting for things to come to her.

She found everything within herself.

“She chooses serenity.

After all she has a big heart.”

She was her own magic.

Her sun shoned brightly even on darkest nights.

She didn’t wanted someone to save her, help her, love her or understand her

She wasn’t looking for a knight. She was looking for a sword.

She lived happily ever after, for she was in love with herself!

She’s devoted her time for what she loves to do.

She values time and climbs the ladder.

She wants her tomorrow to be better than today.

She knows there’s no short cuts.

To live a creative life, she must lose her fear of being wrong…

You made her suffer.

You tested her patience.

But remember, Life will let you get away with something for a while.

But sooner or later, you will pay the price.

Everything you do in life causes the effect that you experience.

When you get the bill, be prepared to pay.

“You can tell your entire story by just drawing her eyes. And I just want to show every part of her soul through my drawing. To show the tsunami of thoughts going on in her mind”- says Ariyana.

This girl who loves to makes sketches of the lives of different women, lives by the thought that THE EARTH WITHOUT ART IS JUST ‘EH’”.

A lot of people often feel being artistic is an in-born talent which cannot be learned. Our team at The Uncommon Box would like to invite you to take inspiration from this proficient and talented super girl who has held on to herself with confidence and thoroughly enjoys what she does. So keep it fun and never say never! We wish Ariyana finds loads of happiness and bliss in her art and practice to do this for a long time because it is definitely worth it.
